Interaction Design

B.Des + M.Des

The Interaction Design course introduces students to the principles of designing meaningful interactions between users and products, systems, and interfaces.

 

Through hands-on exercises and real-world examples, students develop a foundational understanding of user-centered design, usability, and iterative design processes.

UI/UX Design

B.Des

The UI/UX Design course introduces students to the fundamentals of designing intuitive, user-centered digital experiences.

 

Through a balance of research, design principles, and hands-on practice, students learn to translate user needs into effective interface and interaction solutions.

Data & Information Visualization

B.Des 

The Data & Information Visualization course aims to help students understand the growing volume and complexity of information, and develop skills to filter, organize, represent, and reveal patterns and relationships within data.

 

Through this process, students learn to create engaging and context-sensitive information solutions that inform, inspire, entertain, and encourage critical thinking.

Design Culture & Society

B.Des

This course uses design as a lens to examine social and cultural systems and practices, positioning design as an evolving process shaped by its social and cultural context.

 

It seeks to highlight both the self-organized and intentional dimensions of design, helping students understand how design emerges, adapts, and intervenes within society.

Entrepreneurship & Business Planning

B.Des + M.Des

This course offers an introduction to the business dimensions of design, focusing on how design ideas translate into viable ventures.

 

It aims to equip students with the skills to develop, articulate, and propose business plans and startup concepts grounded in design thinking.

Design Thinking

The course introduces design thinking fundamentals, methodologies, and techniques, as well as developing creativity, empathy, and problem-solving skills through case study examples, and application of the processes for real world problems. 

UX Research, UI Foundations & Ideation Process

The course introduces the role of research in UX building on the model of Design Thinking, introduction to ideation processes, principles of UI, and an overview of Atomic Design Process.
